ARTSY Studio Policies
1) Parents are encouraged to drop-off, pick-up their child for class, in order for smooth running of classes. In the vicinity are the library, coffee shops, parks, and restaurants perfect for Moms and Dads to get some 'me' time.
2) Make-up classes or refunds for missed classes are not offered.
3) Supplies are not furnished, but supply lists are available.
4) Food and candy are not allowed in the studio, however students may have drinks with lids. (Parents are encouraged to give their child a snack before class begins). Also, NO GUM please.
5) Students should bring a smock, apron, or old shirt to class every lesson to protect their clothes. The best idea is to bring an entire change of clothes meant only for art class. Accidents do happen, so be prepared. Should acrylic paint get on your/your child's clothes soak the garment in warm soapy water. After the paint is softened scratch it away with a fingernail or a butter knife. If most the paint is away, launder as usual, but check to be sure the paint is out before drying.
6) Students are not to come into the studio area until their class begins. Time for setting up and cleaning up is included in the class time.
7) Pets are not allowed in the gallery or studio, even if they are in carriers or in someone's arms.
8) If a parent is more than 15 minutes late picking up their child from class, a late fee of $5 per child per 10 minutes late is charged. Students should not be dropped off any earlier than 10 minutes ahead of time.
9) Shoes must be worn at all times.
10) Oohing and Aahing is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! You may be surprised how far a little praise goes!
The children’s and young adults’ lessons cover drawing and painting techniques with an emphasis on acrylic painting.
Adults can choose from a variety of mediums including: charcoal, pen and ink, or pastel drawing, watercolor, acrylic, or oil painting, and more. (Acrylic painting is recommended for beginners.)

Studio Rules
(Kindergarten through 4th grade)
1. Be respectful- have good manners
2. Don't touch anyone else's artwork or the artwork in the gallery
3. Keep your used paintbrushes in your jar
4. Clean up after yourself and take care of your supplies
5. No running, dancing, skipping, jumping, etc.
6. HAVE FUN!!!
Students who follow all the rules get a sticker at the end of each class!
- The first time we break a rule we get a warning.
- The second time, we don't get a sticker.
- The third time, we get a time out, based on our age
(6 years old = 6 minutes).

Parents must drop-off and pick up their child for lessons to ensure the smooth running of classes. Lesson time slots are first-come, first serve, so register for your desired time soon. There are no make-up lessons for refunds for missed lessons. All other studio rules and policies apply (see below).
The fee for lessons is a session (4 lessons: 4 hours) for $80, or pay by the lesson (one hour) for $22 per lesson.
Please call before a drop-in lesson to be sure that the time requested is available.
Group Free-Style Adult Class!!!
Work in whatever you are interested in with the company of other adults! Any skill level (including those who have never picked up a brush) or experience level welcome. Work at your own pace in our fun, non-competitive atmosphere.

Pay by the session (four lessons) for $55 or drop-in lessons are $15 per lesson. (Please call before a drop-in lesson to be sure that space is available.) All other studio policies apply (see below.)
