ARTSY Studio Policies
1) Parents are encouraged to drop-off, pick-up their child for class, in order for smooth running of classes. In the vicinity are the library, coffee shops, parks, and restaurants perfect for Moms and Dads to get some 'me' time.
2) Make-up classes or refunds for missed classes are not offered.
4) Food and candy are not allowed in the studio, however students may have drinks with lids. (Parents are encouraged to give their child a snack before class begins). Also, NO GUM please.
5) Students should bring a smock, apron, or old shirt to class every lesson to protect their clothes. The best idea is to bring an entire change of clothes meant only for art class. Accidents do happen, so be prepared. Should acrylic paint get on your/your child's clothes soak the garment in warm soapy water. After the paint is softened scratch it away with a fingernail or a butter knife. If most the paint is away, launder as usual, but check to be sure the paint is out before drying.
6) Students are not to come into the studio area until their class begins. Time for setting up and cleaning up is included in the class time.
7) Pets are not allowed in the gallery or studio, even if they are in carriers or in someone's arms.
8) If a parent is more than 15 minutes late picking up their child from class, a late fee of $5 per child per 10 minutes late is charged. Students should not be dropped off any earlier than 10 minutes ahead of time.
9) Shoes must be worn at all times.
10) Oohing and Aahing is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! You may be surprised how far a little praise goes!
